I'm heading to DerbyCon this weekend. What is DerbyCon you ask? Here is the description from the website:
DerbyCon isn't just another security conference. We've taken the best elements from all of the conferences we've ever been to and put them into one. DerbyCon is a place you can call home, where you can meet each other, party, and learn. Our goal is to create a fun environment where the security community can come together to share ideas and concepts.
I'm hoping its going to be a lot less crowded than DefCon. I talked to some people that went this year and they said it was mobbed. I'm hoping for a decent crowd and some good conversation with people. The talks look really interesting and fun.
